dc.description.abstractBy use of an ordinary injection needle it was possible to draw sufficient hepatic tissue for the cytologic diagnosis of metastatic malignant melanoma of the liver in a patient whose severe condition precluded the insertion of a thick biopsy needle. In such severe cases the use of an ordinary injection needle is recommended for aspiration biopsy of the liver.
