Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing and Cardiac Rehabilitation in Amyloidosis

Abstract

Functional assessment through cardiopulmonary exercise testing plays an essential role in analyzing the patient’s condition with amyloidosis, particularly with heart failure. It is a method that, like the treadmill test, makes it possible to prescribe exercise intensity in a rehabilitation program and be a highly suitable method for identifying the patient’s prognosis. Life cardiac rehabilitation programs, conceived broadly, can contribute to the patient’s quality of life with kindness.
