| dc.description.abstract | In the present study the effect of inoculum size, ranging from 10 6 to 1 cell, in biofilm formation by staphylococci was determined by microtiter plate test. The initial inoculum size had a dramatic effect on the quantity of biofilm formed. A decreased number of bacteria in initial inoculum always resulted in a decreased production of biofilm. | |
