Juxtaglomerular apparatus was studied morphologically after one hour of total warm kidney ischemia, using specific staining method for juxtaglomerular cell granules and routine H.E. staining. The results show that all the components of JG apparatus recover within 24 hours after ischemic injury. One hour of total warm kidney ischemia does not damage JG apparatus to a great degree.
