dc.description.abstractIntroduction Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare eyelid neoplasm which can cause significant diagnostic and especially therapeutic challenges. Case Outline This is the first documented report of the case of primary MCC of the eyelid in Serbia. Conclusion The optimal therapy must be individualized in any given patient and, early diagnosis and meticulous follow-up are mandatory to achieve a long-term cure. © 2015, Serbia Medical Society.
