dc.description.abstractAcute hepatic porphyria was diagnosed in a woman who in the course of treatment was found to be pregnant. Treatment with corticosteroids and testosterone led to improvement but an incipient abortion also developed. Pronounced improvement ensued after a curettage and the patient was discharged as healthy.
