Publication Contribution to the study of the development of kidney juxtaglomerular apparatus (JGA) in rabbits(1978) ;Mrsevic, D. (6602507421) ;Mujovic, S. (6602938333) ;Stefanovic, S. (7006180208)Lackovic, V. (35754725400)By means of light microscopy, the appearance and development of MD and JGG in JGC in rabbit kidney were studied. The appearance of MD was noted in fetal metanephros at the 21st day, and further development was dependent on the development of the nephrons. By means of the specific staining method (Smith's modification of Bowie staining), the first secretory JGG in JGC were found in fetal metanephros at the 25th day. Percent of postive JGU was counted in the course of growth, up to the 28 day, (I-100). Obtained results show that number of postive JGU rises during the period of postnatal life, studied in this work. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Morphological aspect of the juxtaglomerular apparatus after one hour of total warm kidney ischemia(1981) ;Mujovic, S. (6602938333) ;Mujovic, V. (6603462234)Starcevic, V. (7005374307)Juxtaglomerular apparatus was studied morphologically after one hour of total warm kidney ischemia, using specific staining method for juxtaglomerular cell granules and routine H.E. staining. The results show that all the components of JG apparatus recover within 24 hours after ischemic injury. One hour of total warm kidney ischemia does not damage JG apparatus to a great degree. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication Ulstructural study of macrophages in the rat thymus, with special reference to the cortico-medullary zone(1987) ;Milicevic, N.M. (7004246518) ;Milicevic, Z. (7003463353) ;Colic, M. (20933591700)Mujovic, S. (6602938333)Electron microscopic study of the normal rat thymus has demonstrated that macrophages with different ultrastructural features are positioned in the thymic cortex, in the cortico-medullary zone and in the medulla. Phagocytic cells, containing necrotic lymphocytes in various stages of degradation, are distributed throughout the thymic cortex. The cortico-medullary zone, in contrast, is populated with macrophages displaying specific ultrastructural features. These cells contain numerous vacuolar inclusions of different size, filled with homogeneous, flocculent material of very low electron density. The dense bodies, occasionally positioned to the inner side of the vacuolar membrane, selectively contrast with silver methenamine and contain polysaccharides, as demonstrated by the thiocarbohydrazide-silver proteinate method. Very rarely, these cells contain phagocytosed lymphocyte remnants. The predominant type of mononuclear phagocytic cells in the thymic medulla are the interdigitating cells. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
