In both cases, besides the clinical picture and laboratory analyses, the scintigram of the thyroid showing the surgically confirmed tumor of the parathyroid was of great help for the exact diagnosis. After removing the adenoma, the clinical picture disappeared in the first, and significantly improved in the second case.
